Proven Complicated

So... As i have found out. Selling a house is 5x's harder than buying one. There is cleaning out years worth of "stuff" Fixing doorways, Carpet, Cleaning, Fixing, cleaning, Fixing, Cleaning. That has been my life the past month and will be for another month or two. And not to mention Ive been so busy with the house to even come to the realization that my Baby is going to school. (or should be. They still havent told us if we are accepted) But anyway. My BABY! Since we are doing more than just moving across town Im trying to make sure we have medical records and such before we move. And why again to they charge to give you your own records? Because the world has found another scale on which to charge ppl money. Bubby's records are going to cost me more than $30! To give me the records which should belong to me anyway! Seriously?!?!?! So my update for anyone whom reads this. Is im just trying to keep my sanity and enjoy the small bit of summer that is left.

My Bad Luck

First off i know i havent posted in a while. But i had to show you guys this. I dont buy Lotto Tickets offten but i had a few extra dollars and bought this one. It gave me a heart attack. Let me explain. I come home and start scratching the ticket. i had all scratched off but the one in the top right. It had been all "try again" until this point. Then i scratch of a little of the name and saw PENN so.....Penn ave. Right? Or I thought. so i scratched and saw the $50,000 win My eyes bugged outta my head and i was so extcied i couldnt even sit still. so i stare at the card and double check and double check again..... Then after scratching the whole thing i come to find out ..it wanted me to scratch penn railroad! which, since this blog doesnt say we are on our way home for leave, I didnt win. But I figured ill keep this keepsake to remind me to not count my chickens before the hatch again. :)

I know I know..I m Horriable

I love blogs... But this is what happens. I write alot in them..Then forget about them. So its been awhile since a post. But I was gonna show and tell about my little girl turning 6. Yeap. SIX I cant belive it. For weeks before her birthday all she said she wanted was Taco Bell. So we went to the circus and Taco Bell for her birthday. Her and Bubby we so excited when we were getting ready to go.They got to ride a Camel! It was cool. we bought the ride ticket for each one and with that ticket they could ride ponies, a camel , or an elephant. And if you know me, you know i would love to own a picture of my kids on an elephant but... Brenden was to little there was a size reqirement on them :( and since you can ride ponies almost everywhere they decided to ride the camel.
And out of 5 pictures of them on the camel this is the best one i had. The Circus was so much fun and i have lots of mini videos that i am planning on squishing into one. I really dont have lots of good pictures to show now as i sit and try to go through them. I do have a good one of the camels and the belly dancers. Abby liked them the most she said.

It also shows how close we were. we were in like the 8th row. After we went to Taco Bell (like she wanted) Came home and ate Birthday cake. She was so pleased with her day and leaving the Cirus Bubby said. " I liked Sissy's Birthday!" So all and all it was a wonderful day!

In Other News...

Bubby had another appt last week this time with a ENT specialist. And She belives Bub might have something else wrong. Or well something they have yet to check. So today he has to get a CAT scan of his head. I really dont like what they are looking for but... If it gives us an answer I would be so happy. So keep your fingers crossed for an answer and ill try to reimber to post how it goes.

Its official! She is a MINI me

There is My little girl sporting her new glasses. And like her mommy she will probably always have to wear them. But she is so happy to have glasses (unlike me at her age).....(or mine)

But she just looks so darn cute with them. Also if you look in that picture is the teddy bear i knitted for her. I have fallen in love with knitting toys. They are so easy, fast, soft and cute i cant make enough of them. Im already started on one for bubby. We are all doing fine. The weather is amazing! Its 80 Deg. TODAY! So nice. It has been nice all weekend but with the kids taking turns running fevers we really couldnt go out and enjoy it. :( But Sis is better now. Just working with bub now.

We bought all our paint, rollers, tape, etc and even a ladder to get the house up to par. So Yeah me! i get to paint....And paint....and paint some more. Im so excited i cant control myself. But Debbie will be out here on Wed so atleast i will have company and help. But thats about it. I hope everyone has a great week!

My new Umphalump!

Lookie there isnt it cute? I messed up alot on this guy but it is so ugly and i am so proud of it. The pattern also tells you how to make a bear and a bunny and i cant wait to make both. I cant figure out what i want to knit next. I kinda what to knit the bear. but i also got me some sock yarn and im wanting to knit ME some socks so im on the search for a good easy pattern.
In other news... Abby went to an eye doctor appt and she has to wear glasses now. I reimber when i got my first pair I hated it!(Ha i still do) but she is so excited she looks so pretty in them. We pick them up tommorow so i get to post a picture soon. But thats just about it i just had to show off my Elephant. Now i just need a name for em' :)

I turned my first heel!

Yeap! there it is the heel to my first sock i was so happy at that point. Then I was chatting with my sister about how bad it would suck if my first pair of socks dont fit. Because see I was going to be selfish and make my first pair for me. Then she brought up the fact about my "Big Foot" feet. but i was like no way they are not that big...these socks WILL fit me. Well we hang up and i knit some more the whole time in the back of my head saying..."they are not going to fit" ...."they are going to fit"..."serously ..they are not going to fit".." They have to fit i followed the pattern" Well shortly after my conversation with myself i just had to know for sure.

yeap...there it is! My sock on my daughters foot!!!!!!!!!! I guess that will teach me to be selfish. As the depresion for not making a gauge swatch sets in..My daughters excitement for me making her a pair of socks gets bigger. She starts dancing around the house saying mommy is making me pretty socks. The whole time she is dancing im gritting my teeth wanting to throw a shoe at her lol. Because i know her excitement will have to tell dad the second he comes in the door that im making her socks. And without another word he will laugh cause "MY" socks dont fit "ME". Ahhh the joys of knitting when you hate math.

Our Trip to VA

I have been meaning to post about this since we came home. We had such a great trip visiting Aunt Linda and meeting Brendens' new Dr.

Here is a pic that we took while at the hospital. My kids just love Linda as if she was their grandma. Sis didnt want to leave. Before Brendens appt we got to see the Childrens Musuem of Virgina. It was so much fun! Daniel and the kids all kept me running from one thing to the next they just couldnt get enough!

Abby Loved the fire truck and all the Firefighter stuff. Even tho it has been over a week she still wont stop talking about it. She is so determined to be a firefighter just like Uncle Billy.

This was Brenden's favorite spot. He loved the trains so much. His sad face almost made me cry when I told him it was time to go somewhere else. But his sad face soon changed when he went to the bubble room!
This is Brenden in a Bubble! i wish i could have got a good pic of his smile. He felt terriable and cranky and didnt want to be there at first with a small fever and tummy ache but when he saw the bubbles it made him so happy. His new Dr. sounds conifident that he can find out what wrong with him so all in all the trip was great. Got to see Linda. And had a great time at the musum and it was ...well... Great! I cant wait to make the trip again. thats it for now. Have a wonderful Day!

Wal Mart + Taxes = Bliss

Lol or temporarly anyway. Till ya come home and realize you have ALOT of things to put away. But still yet it makes me feel so blessed and greatful to know that i have stocked my house. Sorry about no posts for a while ...its been a bit crazy. My mind has been everywhere but where it should be. My heart goes out to my family. From Regina and Greg to Davy. And Marty's brother going to Iraq. I have never met your brother but boy do i ever know the feeling of saying good byes at departure time.

I have been so happy to know that my best friend just had her 2nd beautiful baby girl .. Alora. And her brother had an adorable baby boy yesterday. I wish i was closer so i could hold them both. But i do send my love. As for the new baby boy .. that has been my most resent knitting project.

Its a cute little carseat blanket. The picture is a couple days old and i have actually doubled my work since then but it gives ya the general idea. The pattern even has a hat to match so i am trying to knit like crazy to get it in the mail soon.

In other news... We leave today to go visit my Aunt Linda in VA. Well the visit isnt really all for her. Its to meet a new doctor that might be able to think of something for Brenden. He has already seen all three of Pediatic GI specilist in NC so after alot of convincing and days of waiting the insurance co said we can go to another state. Lucky for us the doc we found is really close to family. So keep your fingers crossed. Well if i dont post before V-day I wish everyone lots of love on Valentines Day!

How Cute!

My camera doesnt like to take picutes of yarn. So the shades of colors are a little off. But i wanted to try my hand at "kitting in the round" Yeah there are some mistakes...okay more than a few mistakes but hey. I think it turned out cute. It is made for my friends newborn so it should fit well as long as i get it in the mail before she out grows it lol.

And on another note most of my family woke up to a frozen tundra this morning after enduring 30+ hours of ice they are kinda stuck.

These are a few pics i borrowed from http://www.ky3.com/younews?cid=71571&pg=1 ( sorry i dont know how to do cool links. But I feel for all of you and your cold weather and hope i passes soon. But it makes me wanna ask " WHY do I wanna move back to Mo. for the winter?" Well i hope you all stay safe and the ones with electric keep it and the ones without it get it turned on soon.

And again ... on another note. Happy Birthday to my lovely sister! I know your frozen in your boots at work. But just reimber we are thinking of you. Have a great WARM Birthday. Love ya Sis

SNOW!!!

Yeah...your not seeing things....that is really my house and it is really covered in SNOW!!! I am so excited to say it snowed. alot. The weather man said it was going to snow monday night and we would wake up to 3+ inches of snow. Me and Daniel went to bed so excited like little kids on christmas eve. You can only image how upset we was when we got up and NO snow. Then 9am pasted and still no snow. we kinda gave up and then sis comes running up saying LOOK OUTSIDE! ITS FINALLY WINTER! And sure enough....Snow! And more snow....And hours later....Still snowing. Well we was going to wait for the wind to stop blowing or for it to stop snowing before we went out. But like kids in a candy store we just couldnt resit.
Snow balls were thrown!
The art of sleading was mastered in various positions!

And even though there wasnt alot of snow we managed to make a snowman.
The kids loved making snow angels.
And now most of the snow is gone. The snow days are over. But it just makes us that much more excited to move back to Tn. So now all that is left is one sad lookin' snowman and lots of fun memories.
This week has been so much fun for us. Daniel even got to stay home most of the week which is awsome cause he NEVER gets random days off work. I hope everyone else had a great week also.

Okay Okay.....I know I suck! Almost a month with no blog. Hmmm where do I start. Well we was able to go to Tenn. for Christmas!! It was one of the greatest Christmas' in a long time. The Kids enjoyed themselves and Boy did Santa ever come! I dont think in all my years combine have i ever got what they did. But presents aside... Abby had been singing "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth" song for a week before christmas.... And Christmas Eve one of her front teeth started to come in! She was happy Santa gave her , her tooth back "Cause the tooth fariy was taking to long" Visiting with Family was so wonderful we so did not want to come home. it was So relaxing to just be "HOME" I think this Christmas could have only been better if Santa Delivered all my sisters for Christmas. We Got to play cards and BS with friends and Family. And even had an early New year Eve party---yeah---that was fun! And like always, everyone drank till I got drunk and they they sobered up to laugh at me :( Good Times.

Hmmmm. Happy New year everyone. I hope everyone had Great Holidays I know ours was unbeatable this year. Everyone is talking about resolutions. Well I learned a long time ago...If I write them down I lose them...If I dont lose them.... I didnt accoplish any of them.. But her they are for you that are curious.

1. stop smoking ( I actully have cut down in half so ___YEAH ME!!)

2.Complete 25 big projects this year - this can be a knitted project, a quilt, etc

3.Knit a pair of Socks before Jackie :)*

4.Lose some weight-I know that is like 60% of everyone's goal but im going to set my goal low..I dont care if its 10lbs or 50. Just start out next year less than this year.

5. This is a weird one but....I want to actually BID on an ebay item instead of feeling guilty and just staring at the good deals

Well I have more but that's about the gist of it. I have lots of pictures on my Camera from the Holidays that I will try to post soon.
